I don't know what holiday rush is but no doubt home alone and christmas vacation were entertaining. But come on! Die Hard rules over the others. This was action at its best and a study for all those who aspire to be in the movie business.
I saw it with a bunch of friends the first week it was out and we had a hell of a good time. Those were the days when no one could or had to shut up in movie theaters; outward bursts of emotion were encouraged. Nowadays, the theatres are crowded with lifeless zombies cramming their meaty pieholes with all kinds of vile crap. They're so busy slobbering all over themselves, I don't think they even watch the movie. The whole theater smells like lips and assholes smeared with ketchup and mustard. The putrid smell of junk food farts floats thick and juicy over the brainless crowd. It's no wonder sane people want to retreat to their home theater dungeons.
