thats an awesome deal.. i got my 701 for $429(refurb) at macmall.com back in february.

it is a fantastic receiver. i highly suggest for anyone "on the fence" to buy this receiver. for $500 bucks, i think you would be hard pressed to find the same amount of features/functions/watts/quality from any other receiver.
