Yes, Funk, where would we be without it? For those of you who can remember, try this one on, Tower of Power / RHYTHM&BUSINESS. If you have a couple of M60s, some M22s,a sub, and a decent amp it will blow you away if you're into this genre.
Another consideration is SALSA. The late CELIA CRUZ is just incredible. If you're into SALSA give her a listen, if you're not into SALSA, give it a shot anyway, it will spice up your life.
This genre of music is full of rhythm, percussion, and vocals that will excite your life.
