A lot of board members use the bulk wire you can pick up at Home Depot. 16 gauge will work fine but you can use 12 gauge if you have longer runs, or just like the idea of using a thicker wire.

I have had good experience using wire from Parts Express. At $19 for a 100 ft. roll, this wire has worked great for me.

As far as connections are concerned, bare wire, banana plugs, or spades can be used to connect to the binding posts on the back of the 1804. All provide a good connection, although I prefer the banana plugs for the convenience they provide (easy to disconnect when if you ever need to move things around). The ones I linked to just screw onto bare wire. You attach them to the receiver by turning the binding posts on the back of the receiver until they are completly closed, then insert the plug into the hole in the middle of the post.

You're going to love the M22's. I have a set myself and have been really happy with them. What are you using for a sub? Is this for a 2 channel or multichannel/HT setup?
