Thanks everyone for the reply, unfortunately my tv isnt in an entertainment center, the top of the tv starts to bow when I put the center speaker there (no support at all), and I have the same problem as Alan when I put the speaker down in front of the tv, it blocks the ifrared sensors, but that is where I currently have it. I will probably go with the fmb for the vp150 and mount on the wall behind the tv unless I can find another option like finding a way to maybe disperse the weight of the vp150 across the top of the tv, the corners seem much stronger than the middle.
