I bought a PB1-Plus a month or so ago. It shakes the house. anything that's sitting on it when I'm watching a movie finds its way to the floor. My main area is ~15x15 with a ceiling that slopes up, over a staircase, to a loft. I went with this model partly for aesthetics - the finish is beautiful. Also, the botttom-firing driver doesn't become a cat toy. Interestingly enough, the boys haven't messed with the grilles of my M60s...yet. They trashed the grilles of my old speaks. I think they were trying to tell me to upgrade
I second Tom's sentiment about buying from a company that manufactures in America. HSU was the other brand I considered.
