JohnK, Thanks for the advice. I think the m22's would be more feasible since the sub purchase would be several months away. Most of my listening would be music.
Have you actually tried the m2i as a center channel with Axiom left and right? Have you ever had the opportunity to compare the m22's to speakers from paradigm line? Monitor 5's could be another option for me.
One problem I may have even if I stick with Paradigm is that my mini monitors are version 1 and retail is now selling the CC370 version 3. Don't know if this would matter. It may not be an issue because I am leaning to the Axioms at this stage.
