I did a bit more looking on the web and found
this page for a marginal $10 more after shipping, and
cnet rates it highly. I think I'll go with that site if I end up not waiting for the 2014.
I know that the 1014 is basically a Elite 52Tx minus a few features like RS-232c connectivity and a proprietary Pioneer link (or at least that's what the consensus online is), but does anyone know which Elite the 2014 is similar to?
If it is indeed as similar to one as the 1014 is to the 52Tx, I'd think it would either have to be the 55 or 56 because they have iEEE1394 as well. Then again, the casing looks like the 52Tx. I wonder if it's the same as the 1014/52tx but with iEEE1394 added... Hmm...
