I have its little brother, the HLN4365W. Haven't had any problems with it, and I love it. I notice the fan only after turning off the set. The fan runs a minute or so after shut down. Be sure to vacuum the fan outlet on the back of the set every now and then. Dust can build up which might be the source of the noise.
