A while back....I was reading posts here and in reply, Someone mentioned that they leave Their a/v amp's tone controls "neutral".
They went on to say, reasoning: "so as to not "color" the sound.
I like the highs, cymbals, etc.......so in the past, I used an equalizer in my old stereo system, to adjust the sound to My tastes.

On My new system, I Had the bass neutral, and the treble all the way up...........that is until the other day.
I kept thinking off and on about the "coloring" issue brought up here.....so I decided to try both tone controls neutral.
after a few cds, I find that the sound is even better than before, now that I'm used to it.

So I want to thank the forum member who got Me to try something "new".................I'm just sorry I can't recall Who it was.

One other thing......My a/v is a Yamaha, and like the M60's, it likes to play CLEAN and LOUD....I think they are a good match for Anyone interested in a recomendation.
