The neighbor built me a solid honey oak custom
TV stand last year that matches the rest of our furniture and wood moulding. Over the weekend, he brought over the beautiful, matching custom CD/DVD cabinet he built for me (looks like
this one, but it is much wider. Scroll down for larger pictures showing it open).
After I got it all set up, my wife, who hasn't said much during this whole HT madness over the last 18 months said - "I love the speakers, it's too bad they are Boston Cherry. Do they have a finish that would match the rest of the furniture? That would look really nice."
I was stunned. We cranked up the Axiom Custom Shop and she really likes the Buffalo Oak. I'm thinking through it, but selling/shipping 5 speakers and the delay of waiting for custom finish replacements is a bit daunting.
