The Problem:

My M22s refuse to image properly. (I have already checked phase). There is a sort-of-ish vague central image with vocalists. The only way to get a palpable central image is with the speakers toed-in such that my ears are on-axis with tweeters. This is no solution as it decreases the soundstage width substantially and the central image is still fairly weak.

The Details:
Speakers have only 25 hours on them. They are sitting inverted (tweeter's on bottom) on 24" Lovan stands. My room is approximately 11x11x8.5. They are approximately 16" out into the room. My previous speakers (Paradigm Mini Mk-III) sat in the same spots and gave a decent central image without any toeing-in whatsoever and imaged fairly well with a minimal amount of toe-in. Is this possibly just a break-in issue? These speakers best the Paradigms in every category but the inability to image properly in my setup is a major problem. Any ideas would be appreciated.
