I was sitting up last night, enjoying my new Axioms, and it occurred to me that these were the first speakers that I have ever owned that I liked with the grills off as much as with the grills on...
Then it occurred to me that it might be nice to have some small plugs with matching veneer, to cover the grill mounting holes, when I am listening to them without the grills on.
I thought this would make for a nice clean look with the grills off.
I sent a note to Axiom to see if they could spare a few scraps of the Cherry Veneer for me to experiment with.
Anyone else out there think this might be a neat idea?
If I get the Veneer from Axiom, I'll post some pictures when I have them done...
