I am going to be purchasing some Axiom speakers within the next week or so and had a quick question about the M60ti and the M80ti.
My Denon AVR-5700 says it will handle speakers down to 6 ohms. This would rule out the M80ti speakers. But I see some people on these forums with Denon recievers using the M80ti speakers. I was looking for opinons on weather the M80's would work on this reciever or if I should stick with the M60's. The M80ti is 4 ohms and the M60ti is 8 ohms.
Is there a significant sound difference between the M80's and the M60's?
I am also planning on purchasing a set of QS8's (6 ohms) and a VP150 (6 ohms)
Thanks for any advice anyone can offer me on this.
Also another quick question I was thinking of purchasing some of Axiom's terminated speaker wire and was a little confused on the spade-lug termination sizes. I don't see how these would fit onto the back of my reciever. It looks like it will only accept banna plugs or direct wire inputs.
