its a good unit, i have the 701 and love it.. about the only real difference between the 701 and the 801, is the 801 has the quick net-card feature hook-up which allows you to connect directly to your computer/pda/mp3 player, and play then thru the stereo.

but, i think i have seen the 801's for even cheaper than $600, so do a good internet search.
