I used an M2 as a center for quite a while and was very happy with it. The VP100 sounds slightly better but the difference is pretty small. If the room is big or there is a need for magnetic shielding then VP100 is the way to go, otherwise I think 5xM2 would be a real nice system.

As Ford is saying you don't want to hide these things inside an entertainment center or you can make nice speakers sound real cheap and boxy
