Yeah, you're not going to see much difference with TV, or even with good DVD movies. Just set everything to "Small" and enjoy.
The only place you're going to see a difference is with your favorite exquisitely mastered music, where you know every note and exactly how each instrument is supposed to sound... with lots of detail in the bass, and fairly pure (not a lot of harmonics) bass notes so you can hear subtle differences in how loud a single instrument is playing and where the sound seems to be coming from.
If you don't have any music like that tell us what you like and you will probably get some good recommendations
