If you're going to also spend good money on a sub there appears to be no compelling reason to select a mode on your 2500 which wouldn't allow you to use it. Even with speakers such as the M60s with good bass, a well-located and calibrated sub will give an even better overall result, both with two channel and multi-channel material. ----------------------------------- Enjoy the music, not the equipment.
