yesterday's F1 race

yea, i read about that this morning... what were those guys thinking..?

granted, i realize that Michelin informed the teams that they thought their tires were not safe for the speed and track conditions.. but, do they expect the entire race to be held up cause they brought the wrong tires.. and did the drivers not realize that american fans will NOT have any sympathy for their situation. i really think they shot themselves in the foot, if they ever intended of swaying any american fans towards their sport.

from what i know of the event, i think F1 racing in america has started the final slide in its downhill progression. and maybe i dont know all the subtle nuences to the whole situation.. but i do know that a lot of people, who paid a lot of money to be there, were completely let-down..
