Hello All...its me again.
I have finally completed the entire setup in regard to mounting my Axiom QS8's and placing the M80's, Vp150, and my 500. Everything sounds GREAT!!!!
So now it was time to pull out the old SPL meter...dont like the HK autosetup...so that i could calibrate everything properly. I have it nicely set and sounding great. Last but not least I wanted Global Bass Management with X-Over settings...so I went to my HK OSD and changed the M80's to 60hz, the VP150 to 80hz, and the QS8's to 60Hz with the SUB doing L/R and LFE. The sttings work great...however when you go out to the master menu and come back they are reset to small/large etc...which is not what I want.
Anyone have any ideas why the receiver refuses to keep the settings.??
Thanks,
-Tarun

I have the HK525 and I believe that the SUB doing L/R and LFE option is only available if front speakers are set to LARGE. Also, I think you should set your receiver to have Independent X-Over settings since you are setting different settings to each speaker.

Thanks.
I think the independant means that you will use different speaker settings for different sources. The global just means that the settings will apply to all sources.
