I want to get Cherry finshed Axiom M2's, VP100, and EP175 Sub. But if they have a problem I'll probably go black to match up better with HSU or other sub. My 15" Parts Express Sub project blew the enclosure apart. I have quit trying to build now. Did make a nice Velodyne/Infinity Kappa Perfect combo that sounds and looks great. Got Lucky.

I am extremely happy with my Hsu VTF-3 that I recently bought, and can recommend either the VTF-3 or its little brother VTF-2 for a smaller room (my room is over 5000 ft^3).
As for the "looks," in fact my Axioms are Cerry. When I ordered the Axiom and Hsu, I had figured that because of their black grills they would still nicely match with the black Hsu, which turned out to be true (as long as you use them with grills on).

I would recommend ALWAYS using the grills on your speakers.
I had a terrible experience with the grills off on New Years when people used the driver units to create music, rather than play a CD and let them create the music. The result was a dented tweeter on the M3Ti.
