Which speaker would work the best as rear surrounds in a 7.1 system composed of M80Ti, VP-150, QS-8 (side Surr), and ??? Rear surr. The room is 14 by 25 feet with the system components on one of the 14 foot walls. There is no room on the rear wall for QS-8s. The system is powered by an Onkyo TX-SR800 with a SVS PB1-ISD Sub.

I didn't order the M2's to compare, but the config you describe with the M22's is identical to my own. I'm very happy with it. The difference in price is relatively small so I went for the extra extension of the M22

Semi On, you make a good point. Perhaps I should order the M22Ti, compare them to the M3Ti, and return the unwanted pair. Do you find the M22s match well with the QS-8s ??
