yeah I'm not so sure about that crossover thing either.

Got this over on audioholics...asked a owner of the 4600 your question about crossovers...
it has 6 seperate systm setting memories so you could set different crossover points.

I don't think he quite got what I was asking, but at least there are presets on this receiver too so you could use them as a last resort.

Thanks. From what I can tell it will hold different settings based on the memory settings but I'm not positive. I hope it does it as I honestly like the feature. On my old HK 630 I had the crossover set at 80 when watching a DVD but set to 60 for 5 channel stereo etc.
One thing that has me impressed without even hearing it, are the power specs coming out on it. Apparently Yamaha has finally gotten it in there head that not everyone owns 8ohm speakers.
