To all those who've posted recently, THERE IS NO CURE FOR UPGRADEITIS.
Recently, I posted this:
Tube Review
Since then, I won an XM2go receiver that I connected to my HT. Then I saw a deal for an "iPod" white TT on Audiogon. Unfortunately, I haven't able to listen to it yet, the dealer forgot the TT belt...
Then I picked up an external 250GB HD enclosure for the Mac Mini. That's a total of 900 GB of hard drive space in my Salamander Twin, if you include the 20 GB from the iPod itself. That'll go higher, I only have 40 GB left...

Keep it up and you're going to have to buy a bigger house!

yeah, yeah, I'm not a good a/v housekeeper.
My HD tivo has 550 GB. I upgraded from the standard 250 GB w/ a 2nd 300 GB. My wife HD Tivo Spiderman 2. Can't wait to watch that. I saw the HD trailer on HDNet and it had probably the best surround sound I've heard yet. The Doc Ock part was pretty cool.
For you Directv/Tivo fanboys, there's a MASSIVE sale on HD Tivos w/ a 2yr commitment. FMU, it's $299 w/ a $100 rebate. So that's $199...a FAR cry from the $899 I paid last year. RUN and get it. Don't sweat the whole obsolescence FUD. The MPEG4 sats won't be turned on for a while. And even then, it'll take a LONG time for Directv to switch out all the current hardware. (Which they purportedly will do either for free or heavily discounted.)

Wow, that almost makes it worthwhile... Didn't realize it was an HD TiVo. That explains the size.. Mine is just a pair of 120s. Makes it easy to record everything high quality, though (standalone).

Some Directv customers have also been able to call the retention dept to get $250 in credit, as long as you have been a customer for more than 2 years. Makes the deal even sweeter. Check here for more details:
