Craigsub has posted his Comparison of the Axiom EP-600 and the SVS PB12-Ultra over at AVS.
A couple of quotes:
" Axiom has a TOTAL winner on its hands with this subwoofer."
" To date, the EP-600 is the best sounding ported subwoofer I have heard.
The last comment is particularly interesting, because, as we all know, Craig has heard a LOT of ported subwoofers.

How cool is this...
This is the first post I've read after a long day at work *and* after no more than 10 minutes of ordering up one factory outlet EP600V in Boston Cherry...due to be delivered in 3 weeks!
Mr. Jack, you just made my day, cheers!

Barbecue at BrotherBob's house in 3 weeks, yes?
Wait, you live in Florida? Someone's gonna have to pick me up. . .
. . in California.

I figure with the cost of gas these days, it might be cheaper for me to buy an EP600 rather than drive across the country.
It sounds like the EP600 is gonna be awesome. Hope you enjoy it, Rick.
Thanks for the offer, though

Hmmmm, I can't say this surprises me that much. Being a former SVS PC-Ultra owner I can say without a doubt that the Ultra driver is fantastic but it's not everything. My current HSU is a vastly better performer with music. I would however liked to have seen his thoughts with one SVS going up against the 600.
A very interesting read. I would love to try the 600 but the PC-Ultra went as a result of it's size so there is no point in trying the 600. That and the fact that I still don't have one complaint with my HSU!

BrotherBob, you will like the 600, I got mine from the FO also. They said 3 weeks, it took like 5 day?... and me and 5 of my buddies could not find anything wrong with it, so I don’t know why the hell is was a FO unit.. considering 5 different people “looking for errors” couldn’t find any… one bit of advice, you might what to have a buddy to help you move it around more easily. Its 100lbs+ of aquard weight.

That's great to hear Dakkon....I have a sneaky suspicion my 19 year old young buck of a son will help with the moving duties. 3 weeks to 5 days!? Wow, I hope I get that lucky and I'm glad you are enjoying your 600!
Rick & Mike, the room is started and should be done in a couple of months....this time, wanna come help?

There will be plenty of beer and there will be a couple or so dirt bikes Mike, and just for you we even have some of my son's (ADHD also!) leftover Ritalin just in case you get too rowdy!

How far away from Destine do you live?? I'm dumping some swamp land there. It might be time for buisness trip pretty soon.
