By the way guys, I hope to have all this up and running by the time the SuperBowl comes around. Anyone that is in the North Carolina area (Raleigh) is welcome over to me and my girlfriends new house for a Superbowl party/Home Theater grand opening!

i have the older style qs8 stands, and they dont need any extra weight.. they are pretty solid.. depends on if you plan on trying to knock over your speakers a lot or not... :P i have never had a problem with my stands..

Hi New,
The weights are a new product, and I doubt any of us have any experience with them. It would be a good thing to call Axiom and ask them how many boxes of weights, if any, they would recommend. Their customer service is stellar, and they won't try to talk you into more than you need. They are more interested in having a satisfied customer than in making a quick sale.

Hey ajax, ya those guys are really helpful. I told the guy I was interested in the big floorstanding front speakers and he told me that would probly be to much for the size room I have. I was surprised because the floor standing models are more expensive. You dont get that kinda honest customer service much anymore. Axiom sure seems like they have there act together, I hope that never changes like so many other big companys. Like when I call for support on my dell computer, I cant even get someone who speaks english anymore! ha

Sirquack, another question. On those projecters, if you just want to watch regular HD cable, like say discovery theater or whatever. Can you just watch it with the projecter or is that only for DVD's and such. I watch alot more things like HBOHD, StarzHD, DiscoveryHD, and so on, much more then I watch DVD's. thanks

When I bought my projector, I made sure I bought one that had 720p resolution for HD material. HD material over my HD Local Channel tuner is jaw dropping to say the least on my Z2. There are many projectors out there today that offer 720 or higher resolution.
I bought the Z2 for $1800 when it first came out about a year ago. You can get them now for closer to $1000 as the Z3 has been out awhile and the Z4 is about to hit the market.
I would suggest you go to http://www.projectorcentral.com as it is one of the best websites to understand front projection and LCD versus DLP technologies. Also, they have great reviews on all the projectors.
Anamorphic lens's can be purchased anywhere from about $500 and higher, depending on the model you get. My prismasonic cost me a little over $700 smackers on a recent power buy that AVSforum was having. The screen material cost me about $70 on ebay, and the screen frame was less than $30 in materials I got at menards.
