just wondering why there is no classifieds section on here. i'm looking for an Axiom center channel now, preferrably the VP150...but the rest as well to go with my M60Ti's...also, a live chat would be nice. it certainly would cut down on the number of posts i have been putting up :-P

Someone tried to start an unofficial live chat area, but it never took off. And about the classified section, the management frowns upon advertising used Axioms here. If you want an VP150 for less money than new, I highly recommend the Factory Outlet.

Most manufacturers don't allow for selling used items on their boards. Why would they, it takes away from new purchases.

i t hought this site was not run by axiom. didn't realize it was. a chat area would still be a nice feature

i got this site and the onyx rocket site confused. the rocket site is not affiliated with onyx at all...just run by ppl who love their speakers. sorry.

Is there a Rocket site other than av123.com ? I assumed that one WAS a company site since it has online catalog and shopping cart etc...

Nope, AV123 makes the Rockets, from what I can tell. And their forum is official, company run, just like Axiom's!

The Onix/Rocket/av123 relationship can be confusing. Onix is the parent company. They have several different lines of speakers; the "Reference" line, the "Rocket" line, the "X" line, etc. av123 is the online sales outlet for all the lines. "Sound Arts" is the company that manufactures the cabinets and assembles the speakers. Sound Arts also makes speaker and subwoofer cabinets for many manufacturers (18?), including ACI, SVS, and HSU.
And Ken is correct. The av123/Onix/Rocket forum is company owned and operated.
