My EP600 was shipped from Axiom last Thursday the 13th and has been (still is!) sitting in Memphis, TN since Friday the 14th due to 'Regulatory Clearance Delay'. FedEx called me from Memphis today asking me what exactly was shipped, who shipped it and where it was shipped from, called me back within 5 minutes asking me who paid the shipping cost....said it may *possibly* be shipped from Memphis to Vero Beach sometime late tonight. WTF?
And to top it off I asked them to hold the shipment at my local station because I knew I would not be home whenever the truck came by and I would pick it up from the way home from work, "No sir we cannot do that, we HAVE to make an attempt for the first delivery" 'I'm not going to be home so I'll need to pick it up at the station' "We have to attempt the first delivery, you can have the shipper call and request the customer to pick it up" Thankfully Noreen from Axiom called and gave permission for me to pick the carton up at the station.
No wonder folks go postal with these types of people.

Neither had I Rick.
I checked the FedEx tracking site Friday, Saturday and Sunday and it kept showing the shipment as being held in Memphis due to a 'Regulatory Clearance Delay'...my brain was thinking all along it was their way of telling me that 'We DO NOT work on weekends Bucko', I guess I was wrong.
I should have driven up there and picked it up.

This same thing happened to me on the box with my speaker cable. Held up in Memphis. Took a call from Noreen to get it moving.

In a box that size, just imagine what those sick-o's up in Canada could stuff in there!! A big beaver maybe? How about a life time supply of Maple Syrup? Heaven forbid Celine Dion CD's. Or, this may sound crazy but, how about one kick ass speaker?!?!?

Oh man - sorry to hear it! After years of this, we have determined there is a quota system - like when I got carded at the liquor store at 27 years of age (drinking age is 19 in Canada!!). When the Iraq war started, almost 1% of our shipments were held in regulatory delays - meaning poor Noreen was quite friendly with the entire customs staff in Memphis!! Hopefully it arrives okay today.

18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. 19 everywhere else. But we round it down to an even 14.

The 600 arrived safe and sound today....whoa what a beast! First thing I plugged in was 'U-571' and I must say that I can see that the old nail pouch and hammer are going to have to get a good workout in the next couple of days, otherwise there won't be nothing left in this house.
Can't wait for the wife to show up from work in about 30 minutes...I believe something a little more than 'Whoa' is going to come out of her mouth whenever she gets a look at this sub overshadowing the rest of the system.

Tom, most of the Saskatchewanites would've already heard me. After all, THEY ALL LIVE AND WORK IN ALBERTA!!!
I'm kidding, of course. Well, not really. But I don't mean to offend...

Yup - I had to lay that weird thin rubber matting under my crystal when we acquired the second EP600. Works like a charm!
