My little one (Jenna: 9 lbs 7.3 oz, 21 inches); the picture was taken at the hospital 2 days after her birth.

Why do they refer to a baby's size as "long". Ewwww...sounds like you're describing a worm or something. Tall. People are tall.

I guess since they figure babies can't stand-up? They just kinda lay there.
It is weird, though. Like describing a newborn as a trout.

So, would you describe a horizontal EP600 as being 45.5" tall or 45.5" long? I'd guess you'd say long, right. Same thing goes with babies. They don't stand up on their own, so you're more likely to find them in their horizontal configuration.
