Patience is a virtue but waiting really sucks. I ordered over two weeks ago form the factory outlet because I really don't need them til next year. Now I find myself wanting them ASAP. Yesturday i watched Batman Begins and I kept thinking darn I wish I had my new speakers.
After reading posts of others here receiving their new speakers I turn green with envy. Has anyone here every ordered from the factory outlet then later paid the full price to get their stuff sooner?

This is exactly why I couldn't go for the Factory Outlet...no doubt its a GREAT deal but I would just go batty waiting for the golden email.
Just ask yourself is the wait worth the savings?

I feel your pain. I ordered from the factory outlet a week ago: EP350, VP150, and two QS8's. The EP350 has an estimated wait time of 11 weeks. Since I'm moving in a month and I don't want to set up and calibrate my system twice in a row, I keep telling myself I can be strong and wait...at least I have my m60's as an "amuse bouche" in the mean time.

There is a ray of hope: Many of us including myself have received their order weeks ahead of the estimated ship date. I certainly can't guarantee it will happen, but it might. You'll get the "golden email" from Amie stating that your order shipped. That's when you start getting the "Axiomite Flu" which keeps you from going to work on delivery day. FYI mine were estimated at 8 weeks and I received them in 5.

I really miss those days. I remember when I first ordered the M22s. I think I tried to order them 3 times, the first attempts always ended the same way with a basket removal. Finally, after reading some friendly advice from some board members, I crawled back into the ole shoppin' cart and clicked on the order button. Afterwards, thoughts like what have I done swam around in my head. I was afraid I had made a big mistake, but within a day they were replaced with I can hardly stand to wait for these. I was like a little kid staring at all those nicely wrapped packages under the Xmas tree two weeks before Xmas. They finally arrived and I remember thinking, gee, those boxes are really, really small. My wife told me she had never seen me look that disappointed. After I unpacked them, I thought what the hey, I might as well give them a listen. At this moment, considering their diminuitive size I was not expecting much. After hooking them up to the old Yammie, I slowly turned the volume up since I didn't want to harm them because they were so widdle and cute. Surely the receiver would just be too much for them, I thought. It took about 30 seconds for my jaw to drop wide open. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I still don't know they got all that sound into those widdle boxes.

I'm guilty of changing my QS8 order from factory outlet to 'full price' . I received them this past Thursday rather than the end of December.
