thanks sirquack and cgrface.

i think what i will do is talk a little more with brent from Axiom tommorow and see what he thinks about my reciever and pushing the M80's. There sending out the M80's to me tommorow so I might tell them to hold that order and just send me the M60's instead. my room is about half the size yours is sirquack! maybe M80's are to much. :P

Hey sirquack, you would be proud of me. I called Axiom and told them that I think the 80's are over kill for my smaller room and HT use only and they pretty much agreed. I told them to send me the 60's.

you could get the 600 if its not to late, depending on your budget. if budget isnt an issue I would get the 600. I have an ep 600 in a 10X7 room. Just have the gain turned down on it.. and it fills the room perfect.. remember it doesn’t have to be loud to sound good. I don’t play my stuff real loud, just have a very filling room… just an idea to though out…

>>Besides I live on 3 acres, so it is not like he was right next door.

Oh crap... the new place has a lot of land around it. I probably need M80s to get a decent SPL at the neighbor's place, don't I ?

EDIT -- I don't know what this link is for (it's from a few posts back), but here it is in clickable form -- ah yes, the T-amp thing. Nice small amps are really great... and big honkin' powerful amps are really great too :

Dang, I am jealous, your getting a 500 sub ;( they didn't have the 500 or 600 out when I was looking at Axiom back in the day, actually about a year ago.

I hope you like your 60's, I really think you will...

CG... to get you links to work, read the FAQ link above... all you have to do is add the [ url] in front and the [ /url] at the end of the path. Of course, take the space out I put above, otherwise my sentence would have showed up as a link...

You know, new2axiom, you might be able to hear a difference between the EP500 and EP600.

you can trade in your old 350 for a 500/600, that is what i did, traded in my 350 for the 600, i think i got 70% of what i paid for the 350.. so i was only out of pocket 1k$ for the 600.. im sure the difference between the 500 and 600 is not that big, the only real difference, is that the 600 will play lower, due to the cabnet size.. exact same driver/amp in both subs..(i think)
