Hi,
Has anyone auditioned the Yami yet as I've still to select my Sub to add to my 60s / 150 / QS8s on order? From Axiom I'm looking at the EP500 / EP350 but the Yami falls between these two in price for me in Oz - if anyone has heard them how do they compare?
Thanks
Nathan

Mike & Nathan,
Go to the last couple of pages of the owners manual for the Yammi. Stated freq. response is 16-160Hz (-10db). Also, the graphs show it's response starting to roll off around 35Hz, and by 20Hz it is down by 6 to 7db.
Looking at the specs & graph for the EP500, it stays almost ruler flat down to 20Hz. You will hear far more deep bass with the 500. The EP350's response seems far closer to the Yammi than the 500. The other spec that is missing is max SPL.

Epic 80/600 + M3's + M3 Algonquins + M2 Computer + EP125 I think I'm developing an addiction.
