In -n- Out burger company here. They have a regular menu in the store, but if you are a puter geek and know to check the web site, then you can order special things that are not on the store menu. 
When you make it down here, we will take you to one. !

Oh my....
THe big surprise was that the In&Out Foundation had nothing to do with cardiovascular disease. I didn't see that coming...
There were no pictures for "animal style" -- seemed to have a lot of topping but they didn't actually mention a bun. Is that one of those things you have to eat in the bathtub ?

Animal style refers to the onions that have been carmelized on the grill, with a few other ingredients thrown in. Here is a Link to their secret menu. Here is an Unofficial Menu. 4x4 = 4 meats and 4 slices of heart pounding cheese.

Think the reason they have become popular they are doing one simple thing, making hamburger, & fries (made from fresh potatoes as you watch) the way most places made them about 30 to 40 years ago.

I'm thinking a 2x3, animal style, with fries well done and a neopolitan shake. Mmmm... Then again, what I'm eating now is damn good: Cybelle's pepperoni and garlic calzone with a Unibroue Edition 2004. Mmm...
