My current set up is 2 M60ti's, 1 VP150 & 2 QS8's - if I'm to move to a 7.1 set up what do you folks think? I was thinking about purchasing either a set of M2, M3 or M22's, another set of QS8s is out for now (budget wise)... If I do get a set of one of the three mentioned above, would I use them as side surrounds or move them to the back & use the QS8s on the side?? Any response is appreciated

You'd probably use the direct radiators in the back. The M2s and M22s would probably fit the system better, sound wise, but the M22s are awful huge for that application. Smaller than they look as bookshelves, but still pretty tall. You might also consider the Architectural series of in/on wall speakers.

Your current Qs8's should be used for side surrounds whether you have a 5.1 or 7.1 setup. Many people call them rears. I prefer Qs8's all the way around for music and movies, their great. You could get just one Qs8 for 6.1 for now since most rear channel dignals are not seperated anyway.
