Well, I think I got them all. MAN! That Parasound amp is BIG! And, the C1 controller is beeyouteefull!

By the way. Beneath each picture in your Photobucket album, you'll see 3 boxes labeled

Url:
Tag:
Img:

If you highlight, and copy the information in the box labeled "Img," and just paste that into your post, your photo should appear in your post. That box has the url to your photo with the image tags ([IMG], [/IMG]) already attached. You can check to see if this works by previewing your post. Give it a try.

Nice equipment! What are you using for your mains?

I think everything looks great. I really love the two matching chairs. They look VERY comfortable. I think the red and the blue chairs don't look so comfortable though.

You gotta get that PureAV PF60 hooked up.

Beautiful setup, newkid! I really love the entertainment center...very elegant! I noticed you still have some pictures on the floor. I suggest hanging them in a place AWAY from that sub!

Do you have a hole on the bottom of those small tables holding up the QS8's?

You wouldn't want to be blocking the wonderful sound coming out of the bottom woofer.

thanks randy, the blind are signature series composite blinds by budget....they have real wood feel to them...and the lady suggested to dress them up with "ribbon/tape"..

There is a woofer on the bottom of the speaker that needs to be elevated.

You can take off the bottom grill and set the QS8s on some blocks (or soup cans) that don't block the woofer.

In reply to:

Either holes in the table, or mount them on the wall or on stands that allow the driver in the bottom of the speaker to operate. You can just prop them up on something temporarily if you wish. They only need about 3 inches of space beneath them for the driver to "breathe" properly.

Some have used soup cans to prop up the QS8s (how crass! ). I, on the other hand, went first class, and had each of my QS8s propped up on two stacks of paperback books for awhile. OK! OK! For a year. Stop laughing! They were very high class books!

That should do the trick, Sunil. The arrangement in the first two pics is fine.

You want to be sure you that your props do not come in direct contact with any part of the driver, such as the black rubber surround that encircles it. You don't want to restrict any movement of the driver. It's possible the framework of the grille itself is preventing any contact between the props and the rubber surround. If so, then the way you have them set up is excellent.

If you think your props might be touching the rubber surround, just move them a little farther apart and all should be well. If you wish, you may CAREFULLY pop off the grille from the bottom of the speaker to see exactly where the rubber surround is.

Are you going to mount the QS8s on the wall at a later point?

Nice Zoloft note pads, by the way. So is that cartoon character a rock, or marshmallow, or what? I guess "or what".

for now this will be the arrangement.......in the near future when i go with 7.1 setup, the Q8 will come on the sides and the i will either go the 80s in the back or if axiom comes with something bigger like the 100s or 120s then the currents 80s will go in the back and the bigger ones will act as the mains.......at least thats what i am planning......the Qs will certainly be on the walls once everything is said and done.....

i will check this tonite and see what parts comes in contact with prop ups....thanks for your input......my only concern with the zoloft prop ups is the stability of the speakers......with my boy around the theater more than me i am afraid one of these days my new "baby" will fall and be damaged !!!
