Thanks guys! My wife and I changed our minds to where our media room will be. The dimension of the room is 12'w x 20'D x 8't. This room seems to be the better choice for this application. How would you guys compare Axiom speakers toParadigm monitor series? I will be using a NAD T753 70wpc to all and 90wpc in stereo. What do you recomend from Axiom? Thanks very much,
Don

Are you still planning on doing a bookshelf system? I think if you do a search there have been some comparisons done with the Paradigms.

With my new room size, I think book shelves may work better. What do you think?

Thanks Chesseroo! I do like the looks of the M60's, and I'm sure they sound incredible, but don't you think they may be too much for my room size?

Not a chance.
Our media room is essentially 18x15 and right now i have the speakers on the long wall (10' distance to the seating area). Jordan recently came to listen to them and he can probably attest as to how nicely they image and fill the room with superb sound.
The M80s might be overkill and the M22s with a sub would be good, but i've always preferred the full range floorstanding sound over bookshelves with accompanied sub.

Or you could go with the M50s.

Thought I might jump in there before F107.

The 60s won't be to much for your room. I have a set of M80s in a similar size room with 300 watts per side.

Bigger never means too much. It just means higher clarity at playing at high levels.

In the case of the M60, it will give a much fuller sound than any bookshelf will.
