So as much as I would LOVE a couple of QS8s, I have to put my spending priorities in line. I have a 14 x 19.5 room, I already have M22s and a VP150 in the front (which I LOVE LOVE LOVE). What would be the best fit for surrounds if I only had the M2s or M3s to choose from? Thanks in advance.

The Qs4's are only 40 or so bucks higher than the m3's. If you order from the factory outlet you can get 10% off, maybe that will help.

Man! You're feeding my sickness! It's only $110 more from there to just get the QS8's! Hmm... maybe I can sell something to make up the difference.

Tell me about it man, when I first found Axiom about 1.5yrs ago. I was just going to get some m60's, well that turned into a 5.1 setup of m60's, vp150, ep350, and 2 Qs8's. About 6 months after that I purchased another set of Qs8's for a 7.1 setup. Most recently I upgraded to the EP500 sub, WOW!.

Not that is just my speakers, then you have to throw in the Denon 2805, my Sanyo Z2 projector, Prismasonic anamorphic lens. Oh yeah, and the HTPC I just built. When will the madness end.

It ends when we are all broke

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

I'd go with the M2's. Believe they're a better match with your M22's & V150. I have the same set-up, in fact, with an SVS PC+. Quite happy for some 3 years now.

I have the QS4's and am not dissapointed at all. Unless you need to play your surrounds really loud because they are in a bigger room, you'll need QS8's.

Another vote for M2 over M3 (because M2 matches M22 better, not because "M2 is better than M3"), and another vote for spending the extra to get QS4s if you are going to be using the system mostly for movies.

If you will be doing a lot of 5.1 music, M2 surrounds are fantastic but the QSes really make a noticeable difference for movies.

That's exactly the advice I was looking for. Thanks! I figured the M2 would be a great match, but since I will be watching mostly movies I'm heavily considering sticking with the QSs. I think I can work a little overtime and get the extra dough to do it right.
