Hi, Rat:
I think I can do that, but it will make my wife mad because she has to switch the inputs on the TV for viewing TV and DVD. She is confused sometime even with my current setup.
Thanks,
Han

Han, get yourself a new remote like the Logitech Harmony, one button input for whatever you are viewing or listening to. Very wife friendly

Hi, Moridin:
I found out in the DBStalk forum that it is ture that the HDMI connection from Dishnetwork reciever 211 does not carry DD sound. The toslink connection is the only way to go if you want DD sound from HD channels now.
Thanks again,
Han
