Thanks bad as I find your post very helpful. The only thing I was wanting to ask you is have you ever heard the Ascend CMT-340M SE's as opposed to the "classics"????? Just curious because the SE drivers are made by SEAS.

No haven't heard the SE's yet, but from what I've read, the bass is supposed to be stronger and the highs are supposed to be cleaner at high volumes. At the end of the day though, reading all these reviews are worthless--let your own ears decide!

And I could NOT agree with you more. Speaker preference is so personal and subjective. That is, what I like and what I prefer may not "do it" so to speak for other people. Personally, I know pretty much what I prefer and it looks good for Axiom if you know what I mean. Have a great day.
