A bit of black humor:

Two electricians are perched on top of the pole and an old lady is passing down below.

One of them shouts - "Ma'am, could you please pick up that wire and bring it over here?".

The lady brings the wire over and he says to his partner - "You see, I told you it's the neutral, and you kept saying it's hot"

I've mentioned this one before... but it's worth repeating.

I'm anal about monitor cleanliness... at the old arena, I was wiping down the highest bank of monitors and building up quite a static charge when I got close to the road rack containing the DDR (digital disc recorder, not Dance Dance Revolution) and POW! there was a static discharge loud enough to quiet all the conversations in the booth... a giant blue spark between the rack and my wedding tackle.

After the laughing subsided, one of the guys finally asked how it felt... "I just shut down a server with a lightning bolt out of my unit... I feel like a Godzilla villain!"

Easy. Take your pants off when playing with your equipment.

The "LOL" could have been louder yet!

I almost absent-mindedly added a "tongue" smilie at the end.

WOAH!!
