Purchased the air tickets today for the Dwight trip, it was an early b-day present for me since it is in June. Will be flying out of SFO on June 6th at 7am, arriving in Toronto at 3pm. Pick up the rental car and make the trek north to Dwight, arrivng before dark with any luck. Rush hour traffic out of Toronto is worse than the bay area in my opinion, so that could be a delay for sure.
Will be returning to the bay area evening of the 14th, unless the Axiom team kicks me out sooner. The temps will be warmer than last visit so the camera batteries should surrive this time, so I Ppan on having lots of pics and will post them along with anything of interest I find.

When you depart the aircraft and they ask you if the trip is business or pleasure, be sure not to answer "Business".
You won't be allowed into the provence.
I'd really like to take the trip along with you, but the drive from Florida to Calif. to catch the plane is out of the question.
Looking foreward to seeing lots of new pics!

Last trip was no problem dealing with customs, this time I will be taking a couple bottles of wine across the border will see if they pick on me.

Last time I got to Canada was before 9/11, glad to hear the border is still open!!
In the old days, if they discovered the wine, a simple popping of the cork and passing of glasses would do wonders!!

Ah, yes, but then again, you had to fly with goggles in an open cockpit back then.

Have fun Dennis, for all of us stuck at home

You're going for EIGHT days?
That is quite a long factor tour.
If you need housing, they have this quaint upstairs room with long rolls of soft speaker grille cloth that you could just tuck yourself right into...
If all goes according to plan, we might take a second trip out that way again next February or March prior to another round at the spa resort.

More like 7 days since it is about a 12 to 14 hour travel time for me each way and that kills two days. But yes it longer than what I would call a tour.
