I really would love to see 'The Six Million Dollar Man' come out on DVD. Lee Majors was my first crush (well, besides the kid up the street) at only six years old! I think it's been out on DVD in the UK, but not the US. I've seen some questionable R1 copies floating around on ebay and some shady DVD internet stores, but they suspiciously look like pirated. I think it was a popular enough show and it deserves an official US DVD release!

I loved six million dollar man when I was a kid. I still remember what some of the stories were about. Like when SMDM met up with Big Foot. Or one that had something to do with an atomic bomb. I recently saw an episode, but couldn't get through it. Too cheesy. What about the show The Man From Atlantis! Or Shazam. Or the Kung fu series. Great shows in the seventies, but unwatchable now. Does anyone remember The Star Lost? Influential when I was a kid so I'd be afraid to see it now and ruin my fond memories of it.

I bought my 6 year old son the Star wars Simpson's DVD recently. It has about 5 episodes on it and most have nothing to do about star wars but what I have noticed was the amazing quality of the DVD. The pitcher was so clear and sound was like something new about the Simpsons I have never experienced. Voices of characters sounded so clear and detailed that for the first time I relized that Homer's voice is used for almost every other character!

So now Im thinking just because I have already seen every episode of my favorite show (STAR TREK T.N.G) it will be a new experience seeing and hearing them on DVD and on a good Home Theater System.

Okay...Okay...you left us hanging...

What did they bring home?

On another point, the first season of the Muppet Show is available on DVD as is the complete first season of Fraggle Rock...

Sonicfox,

I can relate to the impression the Six Million Dollar Man had on the population at the time...

My daughter is named after the actress who played The Bionic Woman...

I, however, did not name her...(Lindsey)

I only ask this because I don't have Hi-Def, but do cartoons look better?

Do we need The Flintstones or The Jetsons season collections on Hi -Def DVD?

And what about Laverne and Sherley or The Love Boat? Fantasy Island?
Can anyone point out something good from the 70's that stands up to the test of time?

I may be way off on this so I'll stop now.

Let's not forget about all the 70's musical variety shows like Hee Haw, Donnie & Marie, Tony Orlando & Dawn, The Captain & Tennille, & Lawrence Welk! They could all be remastered into digital 5.1 audio!
