Mitch, Dude There is nothing to be sorry about. Not sure I understand what your asking. Are you asking about the sub being 150hz or 85hz? I'm not familiar with this sub, but I would think "Direct" is the same things as "Bypass", in other words it bypasses any settings to let the receiver handle the crossover management. On many subs you don't have a "Bypass" option, so we just tell people to turn their crossover knob clockwise to the highest setting to get it out of the way of the receivers setting. You don't want to use both. To be safe though, you could still crank the knob to the highest setting, in addition to using "Direct" option. This is fun stuff, and can be confusing. Believe me, I still think of myself as a newbie compared to most of these Axiomites.
