Now that I have my M60's, what a/v receiver should I get...my budget is $1000-$1100. I like what I've read about Denon 2807...anything else out there.

You could check out harman audio's ebay store and win one of their refurb auctions. You could probably pick up a 7300 for less than $1000. If you've never had a Denon or HK AVR you'll have to read long winded owner's manuals which will need to be deciphered to be understood. If you don't want to put up with that, I would suggest looking into a Yamaha AVR-2500/2600.

This is not a bad deal!

I would suggest getting a receiver that is a little smaller than the HK AVR 7300...and then buy 2 amps from Outlaw, and hook them up.

My brother recently attempted to upgrade the firmware, on the AVR7300, which malfunctioned. He went and bought another HK AVR 3-series (I think) and added two monoblocks, from outlaw. Total would probably be around 1000 or so. According to him, there isn't much difference, since the amps really help.

If I were to do it over again, I think that's the route I would go.

I have to admit that if I was starting from scratch, I would look real hard at the Outlaw 970/7125 combo, or AV123s new LMC1 and an Outlaw 7125

Or a lessor receiver like the Denon 2805 B stock or refurbed.
