Hi all,

Well, I'm psyched after buying this setup and a Velodyne SPL sub. I've AGONIZED for weeks looking for speakers; I considered Axiom, Ascent, Onix, and Paradigm. There were more that I looked at and a few I listened to, but after seeing this package on Ebay, I had to bite.

I've begun to upgrade my pauper-like system after about 12 years. Also just got an Onkyo TX-SR603X, so I'm just waiting until I can pickup the speakers.

My wife just doesn't understand; "So... what's wrong with the system you have, I think they sound fine"? She only understands FEMALE menopause. Hey, I didn't buy a Porsche! However she's enjoying seeing me so giddy.

Looking forward to reading more threads here and I hope to add my 2 cents too. At the moment, I'm just wondering how I'm going to mount those QX4s in my room; it's not straightforward!

JT

Congrats on the new system, JT, and welcome.

Assuming you're referring to the QS4s (;)), they come with a T-Bracket you attach to the wall. It has two small metal tabs and slots.

On the back of the QS4s you'll find two corresponding metal tabs and slots, which fit the bracket perfectly

JT, Welcome, my guess is after your wife hears the new system she may be a little giddy also. I still remember my wifes response when she heard my Axioms the first time. " I've never heard Robert Plant sound so good" Let us know what you think after you get them setup.

Sometime in the near future, I'll give a room layout and ask for some placement assist. I saw the brackets on the product page but I'm not sure if the seller still has them. He's got the FMS-QS stands, but I don't think they'll be practical with three small kids scrambling around. Wall mounting will be req'd, I'm just wondering where exactly to mount them. Gotta now take down my old Infinity RS2000 rears after noticing some surround foam missing! Oopsie... must've cranked on them too much. Oh well, they were old....
