End of August and today our Sears Wish Book was delivered. Just another sign that summer is slowly slipping over the horizon. A quick flip through the pages led me to this stunner of a product. Entertainment Unit with fireplace. . At least by ordering now I know I won't be disappointed at Christmas. What were they thinking of?

LOL! Notice the size of the center channel speaker. I doubt you could get a VP150 in that space, and I KNOW I couldn't get my "Bigfoot" in there.

"patented electric flame technology" = colored paper with a fan behind it. Think It's a Small World.
Gotta love it.

"4910 BTU maximum heat output "
Electronics and additional heat, Hmmm.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

That was my first thought as well. Who's the genius that came up with this one?

I have three thoughts:
1. How do I get one of them 8.35:1 ratio TV's? It'd be perfect for watching the Weiner Dog Winternationals!
2. At last, I have found a way to recreate that scene in the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where the Golden Ticket holders are welcomed to the factory and fiery chaos ensues.
3. Assembly required? Can I use my blowtorch to weld it?!
Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

Probably a big hit with fans of "warm" sounding receivers.
