Jake and Ken,
I may have stated that incorrectly, I was only referring to the posters situation. If I understand him correctly he has m2's, which should be left/right surrounds on the back wall, in addition, he wants to put a Qs8 in the middle of those two speakers on the BACK wall. I was just trying to say he would be better off using the Q's for the left/right position. Putting all of these speakers on the back wall is not a good idea, that is all I was trying to say. Heck, I have 4 Qs8's, two on the sides(as you should) and two behind (for rears).

I agree with Ken and Jake... I use a QS (4 in my case) as a rear centre and it works just minty... I didn't like the direct radiator approach.

Yes, just minty... a term I picked up from a friend about 16 years ago and not sure I've used that often.

Pertaining to what?
During movies not much, only when it needs to be there as per sound engineer. It just adds the extra spatial sense to movies, ie. ship comes from top of screen to bottom of screen, sound goes from rear center to front center oppossed to both side surrounds and front center.
During 6 channel stereo listening lots!
