Anyone know where I can buy an Avia (or similar) disc in Ontario/Canada?

HMV used to carry it. There's a place in Mississauga which carried both Avia & Sound & Vision, DVD warehouse I think.
Sometimes local Hi-Fi shops have one you can borrow/rent.
I have the sound & vision one and you're welcome to borrow it.

I just ordered AVIA from www.dvdplanet.com and used google checkout to save $10 off of $30. I got it for $23.95 free shipping & I'm in the US. They ship to Canada pretty cheap it looks like. If you can get someone in the US to mail you DVE, www.familyvideo.com has it for $16.68 and you can use coupon NEWMEM96 to knock $5 off.

Thanks for the replies guys. My wife went Christmas shopping in Michigan, and picked up an SPL meter for me. It was hillarious. I got a call from her that basically went like this: Her: Yeah, I'm standing here in Radio Shack, eh. Me: Oh, good! Do they have any in stock? Her: Yep, both. You didn't tell me they were 50 bucks. And you need this, why? Me: To dial-in the stereo. Her: You're kidding me, right? You've got the best sounding system of anyone we know, and you're still not happy?!?! Me: [silence] Her: You REALLY need it? Me: Yep. Her: Fine.

I told my wife I wanted to go to Radiosh..."I don't think so!" She didn't even let me finish my sentence!  Oh well maybe later. At least I was able to get DVE and it definitely helped for the colors.
