Hello everybody, The move from Florida to Illinois is complete, AND I FINALLY have my OWN computer! (no more posting from work). I have been on the boards looking around, on and off.....but I can't seem to "catch up" with all the posts. If anyone can post some quick "highlights" for me.... that would be interesting. For example: Did I read correctly, Ken now has M80's? Big John is still missing?.......etc, etc. Well, I will try to post more in the comming year, (there's STILL a ton of stuff to do after moving) I've missed it... (it's fun)! Anyway, I have to go and try to complete the re-break-in of my M60ti's....(Which, as you all know, MUST be done after moving speakers). Larry p.s. Jack: so "troll" really IS an internet "term"..... I thought someone HERE.........just made it up.

Yup, I've got M80s now. Haven't done a back to back with the M50s yet, but that's coming. Let's see... Peter and Craig have EP500s, Randy's getting a revamped setup with an EP600 in a custom color (which one was it again, Randy?), and we seem to have had a lot of new people lately. 60s seem to be regaining some of their popularity.
In any case, welcome back!

I just got the email from Noreen, my speakers shipped today. I'm pretty excited. I ordered everything in the custom "Ebony" finish. Was supposed to take 4-6 weeks, it has only been 3 weeks, what a nice New Years Eve gift. Here is what is coming: M80s (yes Wid, your wish came true), ep600, vp150, and 4 Qs8's. Oh yeah, I also ordered an Emotiva MPS-1 Amp chassis with two 300 monoblocks for now to drive the 80's. Will use the Denon to drive everything else for starters, but will eventualy purchase further modules for the rest of my speakers. Oh yeah, welcome back LT61, nice to have another neighbor over in IL. Randy

Don't worry, the Mansfield Beech speakers are leaving the PorterPlex and being replaced with Ebony. The room is rather large though, which explains the 80's and ep600 change....

Welcome home, Larry. Actually, you are correct. I made up the term "troll." I also invented the internet.

Larry, another welcome back. Glad to hear that you got that computer and hope that you will be able to join us more often in the new year after you get fully situated(don't forget that your wires will also need to be broken in again to get them accustomed to working in a new location with different electron fluxation).
May your New Year be a happy one with God's abundant blessings.

Thank's to: Ken, Randy(s), Jack, John, Bray, Mark, and Ray. Ken: I look forward to your "review" of your speakers.......(M50's v. M80's). Jack: I see by your posts in the "tubes" thread, you have not lost your penchant for pleonasm. JohnK: I appreciate your concern for my speaker wires. I too, have thought from time to time, about YOUR wires.........you know, the brown lamp cord type from the local hardware store. I suspect by now, the ends are green, OR, you have had to cut, and re-strip them so many times now, your speakers are two feet apart! Ray: Glad you are back too.......you have seen through me... creating chaos, is the REAL reason for my return! Thank's again everyone, for the warm welcome back. HAPPY NEW YEAR! God bless, Larry

Welcome back, Larry. I've missed your posts. I hope the move went as well as you might have hoped.
I'm still drinking beer and looking forward to the next Axiom gathering, wherever it may happen.

Me too! Like Larry, I have been so busy that I haven't been posting much lately, but I have enjoyed a few threads here and there. Congrats to Ken, Peter, and Randy on the sweet upgrades, and thanks to the beer crew (you know who you are) for the PMs.
Welcome back, Larry!
