Anybody use this box? Motorola MoxiNewwave Cable (formerly Charter in this area) just announced this HD box/DVR (the single tuner version). I have basic cable and OTA for minimal HD channels now.

I don't know anything about that cable box, but I can tell you that this is one nasty tasting soft drink... MoxieOne of the things from Maine I'm not so proud of.

I haven't seen that DVR before, but I can say from my experience once you get Tivo you'll never give it up, I would also recommend going with a dual tuner, it's nice to be able to record while watching another channel, or to record two programs at the same time.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

I agree about the dual tuners, but with dual tv inputs I can watch basic cable or OTA while recording digital.
This is the only option offered by the cable co. I may try it for 30 days just to see.
